Update -
I have verbally Committed to Drake University!!
I have received multiple D1 offers as of August 20, 2022, and I am thankful to my family and coaches, who helped me reach many of my goals. I am still going through the process of making unofficial and official visits as I narrow my choices down before making an official decision. During this time, I will continue to play Junior events and my High School season and hopefully receive even more offers! The Woman's Arizona Stroke Play Championship was exciting and challenging, playing against many D1 college golfers. I was able to hold my own, secure a top 10 finish, and beat many of the D1 participants.
I am a rising Senior with a goal to play collegiate golf at a strong academic college and major in business. I will play in fifteen tournaments between May and August in the Arizona Junior Golf Association, AJGA, Hurricane Tour, and state amateur events in Iowa, South Dakota, and Massachusetts. Academics continue to be my priority, and I took all Honor classes and received all A's for my junior year. My current GPA is 3.93, weighted is 4.34. I am open to exploring different parts of the country for college since I grew up on the West Coast, my mother is from Florida, and my father is from New England. We are lucky enough to have a place in Flagstaff, so I am comfortable playing golf in the desert or through the Coconino National Forest at Forest Highlands Golf Club.
The 2022 summer season kicked off, and I have shot in the '60s once and '70s in 15 of my 18 tournament rounds. Additionally, my Junior Golf Scoreboard scoring differential has decreased from 6.2 in January to 3.2 in July, while I have improved my ranking by over 300 spots in six months. My results and tentative schedule through September include.
