I am very eager to play golf at the college level and am very thankful for any collegiate considerations to add me to your roster. Since beginning to play golf at the age of fifteen, my scoring average has been lowered by over 20 strokes. After completing my high school career ranked in the top 20 for the competitive state of Arizona, my goal is to bring my scoring average down to below 75 by continuing to practice 20-30 hours a week on my game. Since I am relatively new to the game and based on my scoring trend since beginning, this is a realistic yet conservative goal to meet before beginning my college freshman season. My strength has been my length and accuracy off the tee, but my short game is not far behind and only getting stronger. My positive attitude, determination and ability to balance my passion for the golf with the importance of academics are another strength I hope to bring to the next level. As big a part golf is in my life, medical school is my life choice, so balancing the two are very important to me. My competitiveness is not only for the golf course, as I also study very hard in an effort to keep my GPA in the upper tier among students.
