In college, I hope to feed my thirst for science and chemistry, subjects that I have always enjoyed studying. I am a very unique candidate not only for my name and ethnicity, but because of all my other extracurricular activities. During the school year, I am Captain of the Varsity Golf, Cross Country and Track Team. I love participating in all sports, but the one that has given me so much joy and satisfaction since the age of 7 years old is golf. At the end of a 9 hole golf game, I set out on a distance run or vigorous intervals. I know the qualities it takes to be an effective leader as well as the physical and mental strength of an athlete must possess to be successful. Even if I am tired the next day, you will always find me with a smile on my face and ready to do it all over again. Besides my love in sports, I strongly believe academics are equal important. If I receive a low grade on a exam, it inspires me to study more in order to master the skills necessary for the subject and achieve a higher grade on the next exam and maintain my 3.9/4.0 gpa in order to make the principle’s honor roll. I will continue to be a strong prepared student and a dedicated athlete at any four year university I attend.
