Jessica Moreno Reyes '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jessica Moreno, I was born in Mexico City, but this is my third-year living in S.D. CA. I’ve been an U.S. Permanent Resident for the last 3 years, and hopefully an U.S. citizen for 2020. I am part of the Mater Dei Catholic H.S. varsity team. I placed first team in Otay Mesa League Final shooting 72 in Admiral Baker Golf Course (5519 yards woman-71.5/126). My high school team won CIF championship in San Diego County (2017 and 2018). This year I shot 72 (5519 yards woman – 71.5/126) and 83 (6129 yards men – 68.4/120) Both years (2017-2018) we qualified for the South California CIF Regionals. 

I started playing about 4 years ago improving my game in a great manner during this period.  I have play national tournaments in Mexico representing my state and region. Also, I had the opportunity to go to Japan in August 2018 representing San Diego Junior Golf Association. This year will be my 3^rd opportunity to be part of the Mexico representative team in the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship. A lot of tournaments played in California from SDJGA and Future Champions Golf. I also played the Biggest National Tournament in Mexico, which this year was in Guadalajara Country Club with scores of 81-82-83. 

I am still working hard on my swing and in my game, showing impressive progress each day.   I know that if I continue working hard, I will get so much better for the time I graduate from High School.
