Hello! My name is Samantha, but everyone calls me Sam. It is a goal of mine to excel in a university both academically and athletically. At the age of 4, I touched my first golf club. Through the years of golf, it has taught me the values of integrity, dedication, discipline, and teamwork it takes to succeed. Golf is a sport that places a strong emphasis on honesty, challenges our balance between academics and athletics, and requires a lot of dedication, strong mental discipline and sportsmanship. Although many obstacles are faced along the journey, they have strengthened me to become more hardworking, patient, and determined. Academically, I commit to maintaining high standards of excellence. Especially through the balance of sports and academics, I have grown to be more responsible and on top of my time management. As a person, I am very well rounded with my morals and always maintain a smile on my face. I value my family very much and I aspire to make them proud. As I begin my college journey, I am excited to further nurture and apply my core strengths in a college best fit for me.
