Hi there! My name is Bella and I am a junior at Coronado High School. As a former military brat, I have lived all around the globe, including Japan, Virginia, Singapore, and now California. I first picked up a club when I was four years old at The First Tee - Hampton Roads, in Virginia Beach, and I am now a proud member of Pro Kids: The First Tee of San Diego, where I have made lifelong friendships and some of my most memorable memories.
Along with golf, I have a passion for journalism and documenting unforgettable experiences. I am a staff intern at The Coronado Times, where I report my high school’s weekly golf matches and other local events. I am also a Coronado High School Ambassador of Youth Golf Alliance, where I volunteer at free clinics to provide underprivileged youth with golf skills and fundamentals.
Being a collegiate athlete would be an enormous leap in helping me to pursue my dreams in a career in the golfing industry. I fell in love with the sport in 2019 when I attended the Pro Kids annual Monterey trip, where I had the absolute privilege of playing Pacific Grove Golf Links, The Preserve Golf Club, Poppy Hills Golf Club, and Cypress Point Club. I love how golf is a metaphor of life, the connections and relationships established because of the sport, and the beauty of spending hours upon hours in nature.
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about me; I hope to hear from you soon!
