Natalya Cruz '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Natalya Cruz and I am currently 17 years old. My goal has been to play college golf ever since I was a young girl. The first time I ever played golf was at age 6 and I instantly fell in love with it. Ever since then I've played in tournaments around California and on my high school golf team. Irvington does not have a girls team so I have been playing on the boy's team through out high school. This has been beneficial to me because boys can hit farther than me but I have been able to keep up with them anyway. I believe that I would make a great addition to any team because I truly love the game of golf. If I do poorly on one hole, I do not allow that to determine the outcome of the rest of my game. I simply pick myself back up and play to the best of my ability. When it comes to academics, I really do try my best. I know that I can do better when it comes to my studies and I plan to work harder during Senior year and through college.
