Grace Spielman '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Grace Spielman and I will be a senior at Marina High School in Huntington Beach, CA come fall of 2021.  My goals for college is to pursue my career interest of Zoology and to attend as a Scholar-Athlete. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am a coachable player who's also hardworking. I also know the challenges of being a scholar-athlete (especially during covid) so I am prepared to take on any thing that may come my way.  What makes me different from others is that I am a very competitive player who also has a fun attitude. Playing  sports has taught me that you can have fun but also be very competitive while playing. I play 2 sports which are golf and soccer. I have been playing golf for about 4 years now and I absolutely love the sport. I love the competitiveness but also the tranquility that follows it. I have been playing soccer for about 10 years. Soccer is the sport that taught me to be competitive and to be the best that I can be. I have applied what I've learned in soccer to my golf game and because of that I have achieved many of my golf goals. For academics, I take all regular classes because my schedule is so full from playing/practicing both sports. Academics is everything to me though. I work hard to have the best grades and because of that I always have A's and B's.  I am looking forward to continuing my studies and athletics and I hope it will be with your team. Thank you.
