I plan to graduate high school with my AA degree from Irvine Valley College because I am enrolled in the Early College Program at my high school. I will enter college in 2026 as a Junior. Currently I have a 4.4 GPA (out of 4.0) in my freshman year of high school. I tried out for and made the Varsity Girls Golf team at my high school this year. I finished the year as the number 2 player on my team. I will continue to strive to be number 1. I play in SCPGA golf tournaments at the Player level nearly every weekend. I enjoy the competition immensely and it helps me improve my game. I hope to make it to the Toyota Tour Cup this Spring. I am a volunteer golf coach for the First Tee of Orange County and have been a coach for them since 2018. I enjoy helping young golfers learn to improve their game and find love for the sport.
Even though I play golf with other people I know that how well I play is mostly influenced by my own determination and attitude. Through my years of experiences at the First Tee of OC, I have learned the core values of golf. The most important values to me are honesty, integrity, responsibility and commitment. These same values can help me in my life and I try to use them every day. I don’t hear a lot about famous girl or women golfers, but I do hear a lot about famous men who are golfers. I would love to see more girls my age and more women be inspired to play golf. I hope that by being a great example to my friends and acquaintances, I can help to inspire more girls my own age.
