- AwardsI have received student of the month twice when I was in middle school. I also earned awards for my grades, for being a good student and for getting along with my schoolmates. As an 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grader I earned the honor of being placed on the Oakland Unified School Districts African American honor roll. In doing so I have been on the honor roll at Skyline High every single marking period that I have been in high school. I was also chosen Female Athlete of the Month for November 2017 in my school newspaper for having the lowest average on our team and for helping to lead our team to qualifying for the 2017 NorCal Championship Tournament for the second year in a row. For the fall 2018 season I had the lowest average on the team. Our team won the section Championship and I came in first place as an individual. In doing so I qualified to participate in the Nor Cal Championships. I also received the SPAAT Student Athlete of the Month Award during the 2018 Season.
- ActivitiesI'm an active member of my church and have helped feed the homeless many times. I am also a member of the Black Student Union and the Pinoy Club at Skyline High School. I currently have a job working with Oakland Parks and Recreation. I am a Recreation Aide and I mainly work with elementary school aged students and teach them how to play golf. I also do some office work and help my Supervisor with phone calls and paperwork.
