Personal Statement

Hello my name is Mia Cho. I am currently a senior at Rio Americano High School in Sacramento, CA. As a student athlete, I am committed to practicing and playing my best while maintaining high academics and extracurriculars. I have been playing competitive golf since I was 9. My goal is to play for a D1 college and then play on the LPGA. I am dedicated and resilient. I am great at making incredible shots from difficult situations. Not only do I have good course management, but I also enjoy taking risks. I find the more challenging a shot is, the more fun I have. I love to bring smile and laughter to those around me. I believe that jokes are a great way to connect with people and lighten any situation which is why my game and personality can be an asset that can create a positive competitive atmosphere with teammates.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
