I have always been an overachiever. In middle-school, I enjoyed helping others matter it be my peers, teachers, or younger students. I have always enjoyed working with children and also helping people so I have decided that being a Lawyer in focus on family studies is the best fit for me. In order to achieve this, I have taken the hardest classes possible to reach my goal and I have maintained my honor roll worthy GPA. Not only have I done well in academics but also in athletics. I took up golf the summer before freshman year. Golf has proven to be challenged but I have overcome the challenges with hard work and dedication as I always have. I went from being in the eighty's my freshman year to being in the low fifty's my junior year. At the end of sophomore year, I was second on my team in the cumulative score and second team all-league. After experiencing league both my freshman year and sophomore year, my junior year my goal was to get to the final round. I did accomplish this and placed second in the Grossmont Valley League and then third in the district. Next year I hope to be first in the Grossmont Valley League and continue to strive for excellence.
Thank you,
Ashlee Welch, Class of 2019
