Hello,
My name is Brooke Carpenter, and I want to share a little background on myself. My family and I relocated from N. California to S. California at the start of my 7th grade. This move has taught me how to to adjust and acclimate to new surroundings and challenges. Whether it was meeting new people or playing new golf courses, I feel that going through this transition has made me stronger. My first year on the junior high school golf team, I was selected to compete on the Allstars Team. I continued to golf in high school. I am currently a senior at Great Oak High School in Temecula, CA. I have been on the girl's varsity golf team all four years with my junior and senior year being a captain. Being a captain has given me the experience of being a team leader and helping my teammates remain mentally strong and focused even after a bad shot. During the off season of my Junior year, I focused on strength training and endurance. I feel this is an integral part of being a successful golfer. A goal of mine is to continually improve my golf game and move on to play collegiate golf and help the team win a championship. When I am not playing golf, I enjoy playing the piano or hiking in the outdoors.
