Nicole Yang Swing...Personal Statement
I started playing Tournament Golf at age 13. Prior to that, I had done ballet, which helped my golf game by having flexibility and also core strength.
I currently have a 3.86 GPA and I plan to take the available AP classes in my future years throughout high school.
I live in Southern California and mainly play SCPGA (Toyota Tour Cup) and FCG Junior Tournaments.
I practice 7 days a week when I'm not in a tournament, and try to get in 9 holes every other day. I recently switched to a new swing instructor to work on accuracy and help bring the scores down.
During June-Dec 2020, I have seen big improvements in my tournament results. I started playing 2 day events averaging 5,900 yards closing the year with a scoring average of 76.10.
