I would like to focus on the word success for the remainder of this paragraph. Everyone may not know what they want in life, but we all know we want to be successful. We want to be important. We want to leave our mark on the world because being known is amazing. Success is all I want. I know how to get it; meaning, I know what I have to do to get it, and I know where I need to go to get it. The only problem is that some of us just can’t stay on the train it takes to get us there. This is why I plan on attending a 4-year college or university. I didn't apply because of the great things I've heard about it, or because I’m expecting something to be different. I decided to apply simply because I believe that furthering my education can help me with my goal of becoming successful. I know that I can’t endure this challenge on my own. I also know that there will be competition, however, no matter what I will be successful. Success to me means going to an awesome college and always being able to support myself. I want to start my life ahead of my competition. That moment when I deciphered that I am the only thing that can come between making or breaking my college success, that I am the only thing standing between success and failure, it was in that moment that I realized that I would be unstoppable.
