Lexi Mueldener '19 Recruiting Profile

All my life I have been told that I am a hard worker.  This applies to school, extracurriculars, and especially golf.  Golf is a game of besting yourself and continuing to improve your game, not beating other people.  As someone who grew up playing soccer there is something wonderful about playing against yourself instead of others because for me, I am always my toughest opponent.  Playing soccer also taught me to play on a team, which came in handy during high school golf, and will be helpful on a college team as well.  It is always a huge motivator to know that you aren't just playing well for yourself, but for your team as well.  Academically, I am a strong student because of my high work ethic.  I get out of school what I put into it and my goal is to be the same way with golf; now and throughout college.  In the future I hope to play on a team where we all inspire each other to get better on and off the course.
