Hi my name is Aubree Heinsma. I am a junior this year in high school. I started playing golf the summer of my 8th grade year. I really enjoyed playing and decided I wanted to tryout for the golf team my freshman year. I practiced almost every day and my freshman year I made the team. It helped that I am willing to change my swing based off of what my coach told me in order to make me better. I played JV almost my whole freshman year, and then I lettered at the end of the year. I continued to play more and more every day over the summer as my love for golf grew. My sophomore and junior year I made varsity. I am excited to see where this season and my future seasons take me as I continue to practice and play more. When I am older I would like to be a veterinarian because I love working with animals and I want to help keep them healthy. My goal is to attend a Dii college to play golf and earn my DVM, although I am open to all options. I work hard on and off the course. I have maintained all A's throughout middle school and high school. I look forward to playing golf and making connections and friends.
