Zoe Williams '25 Recruiting Profile

I'm old school. I enjoy hard work and good wins. That's what makes me different. I'm dedicated, teachable, and I love succeeding both on and off the links. As a freshmen in high school, I made the team definitely not because of my beginner golf skill, but because I wanted to learn how to golf and my Coach saw that in me. After moving to Florida, I played volleyball my sophomore year, but missed the game of golf. My junior year I met my great coach and a PGA Pro of thirty years, Bob Range, who honored me as MVP and Team captain in my first year with him on the golf team. Since the 2023 fall golf season with Coach Bob, I have improved my 18-hole scoring average from the low 100s down to low 90s already, and I'm only just getting started! Golf teaches me discipline, resilience, and teamwork and how to be bigger than a bad game, which I think makes me a great candidate for your team. Over the next five years, my golf goals include continuing to lower my average score, increase my distance, refine my swing tempo and continue to improve my mental game. My academic goals include possibly getting a Ph.d in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and continuing my love for music! I am first chair double bass and electric bass in both band and orchestra! My personal goals include continuing to be a change agent in my community. I'm ready to grow and look forward to talking with you.
