Please note that I am a committed team player who has played girl's golf competitively since age 7. My family has been very supportive and continues to support me during the golf season and off season to grow and develop year after year both as an athlete and a person. I would like to be part of a college girl's golf team who is supportive of each other and is competitive on the golf course.
From 9-12th grade I have played every golf season in the number one position on my high school team . In individual matches for four years I have won eight high school matches and placed as runner-up eight times in a total of my four years 28 total regular season matches, excluding District and Regional Matches . During my high school career I have also been team medalist 25 of 28 matches earning MVP status since 9th grade . My coaches picked me to be Captain for both 11 and 12th grade years .In the off season i continue to work out with cardiovascular and strengthening and work on my driving , woods, iron , and short game skills at the P.G.A.'s Learning Center in Port St. Lucie , Fla as well as play golf on their four golf courses , all within 2 miles of my house . In 2015 and 2016 , I was honored to make the TCPALM All-Area Golf second team for the Treasure Coast .
Since 9th grade our team has won District Runner-up to the Benjamin School three of four years .Our team advanced each year to Regionals in West Boca Raton , Fla . in one of the State of Florida's competitive Districts .In 2016 I placed 23 out of approximately 50 girls . '
For the 2017 high school golf season , During my senior, fall 2017 season , I won 3 events in local team matches .In the Kings Academy Invitational I placed tie 6th out of 55 girls with an 87 for 18 holes and tie 6th in the Kings Academy Invitational , West Palm beach, Fla . In the preseason I was runner-up in the PGA South Florida Prep Tour event that was shortened to nine holes with a 41 score.
Twelfth Grade Averages for Key Clubs ; Driver : 200-220 yds. , 4 Hybrid : 155 yds., 7 Iron : 140 yds., PW: 100yds. , 1 or 2 putt most of time . Low 9 hole score in high school has been a 40 .and 87 for 18 holes.
Academic Highlights; Currently carrying a 3.37 weighted g.p.a. Classes at John Carroll H.S. are challenging and designed to prepare you for college . In tenth grade elected as Student Government class rep, started the school's " Spirit Squad ", and invited to join the school's presteigous Anchor Club . Elected as freshman class secretary , serve on the Student Council , and as D.J. for Dance Team .
Congressional Gold Medal - On March 18, 2018 I was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal by Congressman Brian Mast for completing 800 hours of voluntary service , physical fitness , and personal development , and a five day Exploration trip of the Indian River Lagoon . Congressional Bronze Medal - In 2015 , I completed all requirements for the Congressional Medal and it was awarded by Congressman Patrick Murphy at a ceremony on March 8th, 2015 at Palm Beach State College. This program required 200 hours of work in Personal Development, Physical Development, and Voluntary Public Service. This program was begun in 8th grade and took a year to complete . In 2015 I was the only St. Lucie County public or private school High School student to receive this award . In 2016 I received the Congressional Silver Medal from my Congressman for completing the extensive criteria beyond the Bronze Medal.
