Allissa Patrick '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Allissa Patrick. I am currently 17 years old. I started playing golf when I was in about 3rd or 4th grade. This journey all started for me after seeing most of the men in my family playing golf almost everyday. I play golf a lot with my friends and my father. In college, I wanna major in Health Sciences, and continue my schooling to become a cardiologist. I have wanted to become a cardiologist since I was around 9 years old, after seeing my aunt go through what she did getting her heart transplant at Shand's in Gainesville, FL. Many months of switching to different hospitals, to finally finding a hospital that met the attention she needed, which was at UF Shand's. My dream is to attend University of Florida and play golf. Wherever I am accepted, I believe I will be an asset to the team playing the sport I have grown to love over the years. I believe I am a good candidate for a team, because I am a hard worker, fast learner and a determined athlete.
