Hello, my name is Ella Organ and I aspire to attend a four year program and continue to pursue my golf game on the collegiate level. I am very passionate about my academics and my golf game. Sports have shaped me to who I am today. My father was a professional hockey player and my grandfather was a professional football kicker in the CFL. Their backgrounds have shown me the importance of sports. I was a competitive cheerleader for 8 years but decided to stop in order to focus on my golf game, as playing in college is one of my major goals. Throughout my many years of schooling and playing golf I have learned that I have a very positive attitude, and I have been told from multiple coaches (including ones that have not been my coach) that I never stop smiling, no matter the scenario. I believe that staying positive is one of the key elements in life. Cheerleading and golf have taught me how to be a leader, how to be responsible, and how to be committed to a team or just myself. I know how to get myself focused and stay focused even under pressure. I have been blessed to have grown up with unconditional support from my parents, as they have aloud me to decide, on my own terms, what I would like to do in my life and that's when I fell in love with the game of golf. Although I love sports, my academics have always been the most important to me. I have excelled in school by using my time to study, and make sure to have all of my work completed. I have been recognized for my academics by being accepted into the National Honors Society, and for golf I was selected to attend PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance) from my coach and my counselors. I have not quite figured out what major I would like to go into but I am very interested in psychology, physical therapy, and interior design.
