Hello my name is Paisley Bratton, I'm a senior at Creekside high school. I started golfing in seventh grade just for fun, something to pass the time when I wasn't dancing or taking care of my pigs for 4-H. I danced for 13 years and competed on the competition team for a year. I participated in 4-H for 9 years, I showed and took care of my pigs where I learned responsibility, leadership and so many other valuable life lessons. Freshman year was when I started to get kind of serious about golf. We moved to another city and got my first swing coach and worked with her until we moved at the end of my sophomore year to a new state. Then my junior year I was still working but o my own and not making any progress. The summer before senior year it really clicked. I spent almost everyday of my summer at the golf course working as hard as I could to get better. I went from the beginning of the summer shooting a 114 on 18 holes getting it down to 95 at the same course. I feel like I have so much more I want to accomplish with golf, that I have just started getting better. I love this sport and the wonderful memories it has given me and I'd really love to continue at a collegiate level.
