My name is Cortni Jacobs and I will graduate with the class of 2020 at Adairsville High School in Adairsville, Georgia.
My goal is to become an Elementary teacher.
I started playing golf my freshman year for the first time. I was able to score low enough for our team to qualify for state in 2017. My sophomore season my score was 15 strokes lower than the previous season. By the end of the 2018 summer, I reached my personal best score of 79 at Chateau Elan on July 19th. I love golf and the challenges it gives me.
The thing I have learned most about golf is that everyone has bad days, you just have to put the bad holes behind you and keep working to get better.
I would love the opportunity to continue playing collegiate golf while working toward my degree in early childhood education.
