September 2018 Personal Statement
I have been playing competitive golf for 3 years. With my hard work, I have come a long way from shooting in the 100's to winning the GSGA Club championship in 2017, followed by a 2nd place finish in a Hurricane junior golf tournament 2017. In 2018 I have been able to lower my scores to the low 80s, shooting 79 twice as the summer of 2018 has come to a close. I have placed second and third in a Hurricane Junior Golf Tournament throughout the course of the 2018 summer season. I have been able to balance rigorous course load at school and improve my golf game. My strengths are: good time management skills, solid work ethic, and taking critique well in order to work and improve my game. I love the sport of golf as it has taught me things/habits that I can use in my daily life. My goal is to play for college and I am willing to work even harder to achieve this goal.
