Despite the pressures of the Region tournament, I shot my personal best of 75 as a freshman to win low medalist. While I played as the number one golfer for my high school team all season long, I grew the most from my experiences playing on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Playing in those 36 hole tournaments has taught me about endurance and commitment. As a third degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, I have a high level of focus and dedication that I carry over to my golf game. During my freshman season, I was usually the first to get to the course and the last to leave. I practice almost daily and compete year round. Not only do I believe I have the ability to compete for a college team, but I have the work-ethic, character, and leadership skills to make a positive impact on the team.
I am seeking a university that will enable me to develop academically as well as athletically. Since I hope to pursue a business degree, I am looking for a program that will thoroughly prepare me for the business sector. In short, I highly regard both, the educational and athletic, experiences of the student-athlete that I hope to be a part of.
