Since I was four years old, golf has been a huge part of my life. In fact, one of the reasons I moved to where I currently am was to help me better my golf game. From the start collegiate golf has been my goal. I have had many friends go off and play at a collegiate level and they have expressed that it has been one of the best experiences for them. This sense of community is something I have experienced in high school and is something I would like to continue to have in college. Not only would I like to build those connections within my team, but I believe being around like-minded people will help me in my academic endeavors as well. I would be a good candidate for coach's teams because I have been on a team since the start of my eighth-grade year and have been on varsity since my freshman year. For almost five years I have given my all to a team and have worked with them to win two state championships. Also, I was co-captain my junior year and that will carry into my senior year. My character and my love for my teammates has given me that amazing opportunity to be able to help/lead them. This willingness to work with others and drive to play at a high level is reflected in the quality of my academics.
