Hi, my name is Reagan Henderson. I’m a 16-year old junior attending Greenbrier High School in Evans, GA.
I’ve been playing golf for a little over 8 years now and it‘s a game that is very special to me. It has taught me valuable lessons that translate to life, such as perseverance, discipline, and determination.
Throughout my high school career, I have demonstrated my commitment through countless hours of practice and days of high competition. These experiences not only help me become a better player but teach me resilience.
In addition to my athletics, I maintain a rigorous academic schedule, always opting for classes and studies that with allow me to obtain more knowledge and help others.
As a black female golfer, I‘ve faced challenges and adversary along my journey. Despite these obstacles, I’ve persevered with resilience and determination, using my experiences to fuel my passion for the game and strive for success. As I pursue my collegiate golf career, I am eager to advocate for greater diversity within the sport. I am confident that my unique perspective and determination will contribute greatly on and off the course.
