Hello Coaches! My name is Sofie White, class of 2025 from Sellersburg Indiana.
Although I’ve only been golfing competitively for three high school seasons, my journey into the sport has been shaped by a strong commitment to growth and resilience. Diagnosed with a learning disability early in my education, I learned to approach challenges with persistence and creativity, traits that now define my approach to sports and academics alike. While I work hard to maintain strong grades, I value creativity and personal expression, especially in art and my goals to pursue art therapy as a career.
As a lifelong softball catcher, I thrived in the fast-paced, team-focused environment and brought that determination into my golfing journey. Shifting from the softball field to the golf course wasn’t just a new challenge—it was a way to push myself, improve, and strengthen my focus.
Being part of a team has always been important to me. As a catcher, I learned how to stay calm under pressure, read situations, and support my teammates. Now, as a golfer, I bring those same skills to each match, celebrating my teammates’ wins and working together to achieve our goals.
Looking toward college, I’m excited to bring my dedication to growth, love for competition, and team spirit to the next level. I’m eager to learn from new coaches, support my teammates, and continue my journey toward excellence both on and off the course. Thank you for considering me for your program—I'm ready to work hard, represent my team with pride, and contribute to our success.
