My name is Cassidy Ayres and I love to play golf! Since I was a young girl my Dad would take me to the course with him where I fell in love with the game and the environment. I began to play competitively and take the game more seriously during my 8th grade summer. This is when I traveled to some of the Indiana Junior Golf tournaments that were within driving distance. These opportunities to play with and compete against other girls with similar interests as mine grew my love for the game. The competition drove me to become a better player and practice more often. My best friends are now the girls I met traveling and playing golf with.
My goal is to play golf in college and become the best teammate and player I can. The idea of getting to travel and play golf around the country is so intriguing to me. Especially the opportunity to get to share this experience with teammates. I'm a hard worker both in the classroom and during practice sessions. My growth in school and on the course is shown in my grades and scores. I am driven to become a better daughter, sister, student and player as I finish my high school career and pursue opportunities at the college level.
