Personal Statement
My name is Hope Haarer I am a Junior (class of 2023) at Westview Jr./Sr. High School in Topeka, Indiana. I am the number 1 golfer on my varsity golf team, and I love the game!
I have just under a 4.0 GPA and a PSAT score of 1120. This year I am taking five college credit classes. I enjoy pushing myself academically.
I started playing golf the summer before my freshman year, so I was way behind most girls my age. However, I practiced almost every day since (weather permitting) and my hard work is starting to pay off. I am one of the best golfers in my conference as a junior and I hold the school record for the lowest 9 hole score (36).
My goal is to advance to state by my senior year, and to play golf on the collegiate level.
I am a hard worker. I love people, and am said to have a bubbly personality!
