Personal Statement
My dad introduced me to golf when I was about 3 years old, I really got into it about 5 years ago. In two years, I went from a 16 handicap down to a 7. 3. Due to COVID-19 there have been very limited tournaments available, but I have worked hard at my course and won the Junior Girl's Club Championship five consecutive years. Last year, I finished fourth in the Women's Club Championship, this year I was able to win the tournament, both at the London Hunt & Country Club (Home of the 2014 the LPGA CP Women's Open) Robert Trent Jones Designed. I work part-time at Neighbourhood Pet Clinic, here in London, Ontario. I am responsible for customer service, cleaning and taking care of the animals during their time in the clinic. I played rep hockey and volleyball, as well as recreational soccer and basketball, but found that golf was my true passion. I am an avid reader and a member of an online book club. Prior to COVID-19, I volunteered during the summer at a golf and tennis camp.
Of course, working hard on and off the course is very important to me and I strive to be the best self I can be. This includes working hard in school and on my fitness.
