Personal Statement

It is my ambition to be a professional golfer or to make a career in the game of golf. I strongly believe that being part of a US college golf programme can help me achieve this goal whilst I gain a great education.

I'll understand what it is like to play and to compete at the highest level, always trying to improve my game and develop my skills. I love being part of a team and really enjoy playing competition golf when I am representing my province, my local club or my school.

I really enjoy being around people who share my passion and am looking forward to making great connections.

My studies are really important to me and I want to make sure that I graduate with a great education as well as a successful golf record. 

I currently enjoy coaching my school rugby team and regularly run short course golf session at my local club. I am the Junior club captain and really enjoy taking an active role in the teams and clubs that I am part of.

I am hard working, loyal and I always want to improve myself

  • Notes: Led Villiers School to first ever National Golf Final by winning the Munster Interprovincial Schools Championship.

  • Notes: To be played from the 21st of August till the 25th of August. With 3 singles matches and 3 foursomes matches, with foursomes in the morning and singles in the afternoon.
  • 2023 Castletroy Golf Club (Senior Cup)

  • Notes: I have gone 3-0-0 in Senior Foursomes with two different partners. We won the first match on the 15th hole, the second match was won on the 16th hole and the third match was won also on the 15th hole. These match wins helped to secure the teams place in the All-Ireland Finals being held in September.

  • Notes: Picked for the second year running to represent my province, played all foursomes matches and missed one singles match for the week.
