Personal Statement
Going to college has been a dream of mine since I was very young, I think it is a great opportunity to improve my game, and my education level. I also want to be part of a university golf team and work with them because it is a great and unique experience. On the educational part, studying in the US can help me a lot in my professional career.
I´ve been playing golf since I was 6 years old, my father and grandfather were the ones that introduced me to the sport because they also played. Golf has helped me in several ways, it has given me a lot of opportunities, such as playing in different events around USA and Mexico. I have also made a lot of friends and stronger relationships because of golf. Golf has also given me the chance to get a stronger bond with my dad because he comes with me to tournaments. It also helps me learn a lot of important values such as respect, patience, discipline, honesty, etc.
I believe there’s plenty of room to improve on myself and my game and that is why I want to go to college because I know that being part of a team will help me achieve that and I will give the best of me to make it happen.
