Personal Statement
I'm currently studying IB at the English College in Prague (high school). I previously went to a boarding school called Loretto in Scotland for 3 years. I've been a part of their Golf Academy team (Rick Valentine as a head coach), I took part in many competitions, such as College tour and matches against other schools. It's been a wonderful experience, I've lived in a different cultere with students from other countries. My team and I are competing in the 1st women's league in the Czech Republic as well as other national team competitions as well as individual ones.
In the near futere I'd love to study and play golf for a university in the US. In terms of the academics I believe I have a lot to offer to the potential university, I have langue certificates including English C1, German B1, French B1 and I'm fluent in Czech and Slovak. I've completed a full GCSE course and right now I'm in my first year of the IB Diploma.
My future goals would be definitely linked to the academics. I want to successfully complete my IB and then study abroad on a university. I love studying languages and humanities and in the future I want to improve my skills and knowledge on these subjects. In terms of the athletics I definitaly want to become a professional golf player and maybe start coaching after college, however this would be later on in the future if I would decide not to play under the amateur status anymore. At this moment my biggest goal is to get into a university and combine my studies with golf and competing for a university team would be one of my other great aspirations.
I am very ambicious and keen on playing in the future, so golf opportunities would play a big role for me in terms of which university to apply to.
