Personal Statement
I come from a family where 80% (my father, an older brother, an older sister and I) of the members play golf. The remaining 20% (my mom) does not play golf but was caddying my sister and me when we were younger. That makes us a 100% golf family and that’s how we spend most of our holidays. Golf is usually part of the agenda in most of our family outings and holidays.
Growing up in a ‘golf’ environment, has always given me the opportunity to explore this sport in a rather exciting and enthusiastic way.
I have had my fair share of winnings and losings in various tournaments, both locally and internationally. With my father’s encouragement and motivation, I do look forward to future tournaments to showcase my best swings and shots and also improve my skills. Being the youngest in the family, I too aspire to follow my older siblings’ footsteps – that is to get into college golf while pursuing my degree majoring in Education.
I believe I have what it takes to be a team player and create the impact to the team that I am committed to.
