My name is Evelyn Wong and I am a Pennsylvania resident based in Shanghai, China. I am part of the class of 2022 and have been a part of the Philadelphia Junior Tour and the Emmaus High School golf team.
In the PJT, I was the age 15-18 girl's Player of the Year with a low round on a single day tournament of 73 (+1) and a two-day tournament of 76-77 (+9). On the high school team, I was the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference second team with a low round of 70 (-1) and a season scoring average of 75.6.
In the 2021 season so far, I have a scoring average of 73.3 with scores of 77, 75, and a low of 68.
Golf has always been a joy for me; from the adrenaline of sinking long putts to even the unfortunate push fades, I believe the beauty of golf resides in every facet of the game. Thus it would be an absolute honour to have the opportunity to play on a collegiate golf team.
