My name is Madison Chui, and I have been playing golf for ten years, since my father introduced golf to me at age five. I started playing competitively at around age 12, and only recently started considering college golf. Before playing golf competitively, I have had experience playing competitive tennis for multiple years, giving me a competitive nature and a passion to be at my best game every day. I strive to better myself at every practice session and aim to beat myself rather than my opponents during golfing events. Although golf may be challenging, it is the ups and downs of the game that makes playing golf so exhilarating and hooks me to the game. I look forward to opportunities to play with and be exposed to other better players around the world as I can learn from them, and I hope to get more of such opportunities in the future.
As the oldest child in a family of five, I have a good sense of responsibility and am dedicated to giving my all in whatever I do, and although playing golf is important, I also want to give my best effort and succeed academically, thus I am looking for a school with a good academic background as well.
