Personal Statement
I’m a grade 11 learner, and will be attending GED home-schooling in 2017 and try to complete my last two years of school within one year to focus more on my golfing career in 2018. I will also spend the year to work on my physical and mental health and to become fit for the demands of the game I love.
I want to attend college golf in the US because it can only help me reach my full potential and only give me the best future golfing career I possibly can achieve. I’m hard working and will always try to improve my game as much as I possibly can. I currently spend on average between 12 to 16 hours a week on the practice range. My current coach has guided me through a lot of positive changes in my game and has contributed to my growth in a very short time. My wish is to be training under the best coaches in the world and to be able to grow my game under the mentor ship that has given us the best golfers in the world.
The reason I want to attend a US college is because it’s much more developed and equipped than South African colleges and can only give me much more experience than any other colleges.
