October 2019Personal Statement
I started playing golf with my Dad when I was 3 years old. Golf has taught me many things like sportsmanship, being humble and staying confident. Since a very young age I have known that I want to play golf in college.
I have been playing on my high school as varsity one since freshman year. I have improved approximately 7 strokes between my freshman and sophmore year and my goal is to take another 5-8 strokes off by the time I graduate. I am interested in finding the right college to further my development as a golfer and challenge me to my full potential.
I have always been a very dedicated, willing to work hard in both golf and academics. Due to the number of golf meets I play in, I have had to miss several days of school. But, I have been able to keep up on my homework and maintain a 3.6 GPA.
I am interested in majoring in business and would like to incorporate my love for the game into a related business.
