Maura Peters '23 Recruiting Profile

I am Maura Peters. I come from a golfing family and I have been playing competitively for the last 5 years. During my Sophomore year, I formed a much stronger connection with the game that I had not previously experienced (Freshman season lost due to Covid-19).


I live in the Midwest and focus primarily on volleyball during the winter months. I play both high school and travel club volleyball. However, I have combined that with golf conditioning this year to get stronger for my upcoming high school season and AJGA events.

I really love team sports and the strong friendships that I have made from them. I was able to experience a state championship with my friends this past fall in volleyball. I’m hoping to help my golf team bring back the same trophy this spring.

As for college, I’d like there to be high academic standards and a competive golf program. I am undecided on my major at this time but feel math and science will play a big part in my decision.

I’m super excited to see what my future holds!
