Hi, my name is Cora Eckhoff, and I am from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa! From a very young age I have always loved the sport of golf, even though it wasn't until about 2 years ago that I became invested in a future with it. I have always been super involved in sports, from volleyball, to soccer, to basketball. Not only do I participate in high school golf I also participate in the SDJPGA. I find that it has a much more competitive field and that it pushes me to become better. My uncle was a PGA pro and has always pushed me to be the best golfer on and off the course. He always says if I do anything in life, let it be inspiring others. At the end of the day, when I no longer have golf, I want to look back and be able to know I made a difference. I find myself to be coachable, willing to work, and motivated. In order to stay on top of my game, I weight train three times a week and eat as healthy as I am able to. I also take great pride in the fact that I never let sports get in the way of my education. I am currently ranked 1/144 in my grade as well as upholding a 4.0 GPA. I also believe that I would not have any of these opportunities and possibilities if it were not for the help of God. As basic as it may sound, I always remind myself of Philippians 4:13, because we truly can do all things through him.
