I always have new goals throughout the season and during the off season for myself. Most of the time my weekly goals are to better myself in a category I felt that I struggled the most with the previous meet or practice, and try to shoot better than the last meet/tournament. What makes me a good candidate for any team is my drive to be better and knowing i'm not at my full potential yet, I always try to have fun which is important, I enjoy making people laugh but when it comes time to compete I take it very seriously, I would also say I am coachable I listen to the advice my coaches give me and if I get confused or have questions I ask. What makes me different from others is like I said previously my drive to be better everyday, when i'm not happy with how the last meet or practice went I ask my coach if he can stay after and help me with some things to get more reps and being able to get along with everyone helps me be a good teammate which is something I drive to be. Having good teammates helps in so many different aspects so being able to communicate and always wanting the best for my teammates is important to me. Academic wise I try and balance my school work and athletics evenly, being a student athlete can be very stressful if you don't stay on top of your work and being stress affects you in the classroom and out on the course.
