My name is Cooper Brading and I’m in the class of 2024. I attend Jefferson West High School in Meriden KS. I started playing golf my Sophomore year. I played both Varsity and JV my first year and my scores were in the 125 range. Between my Sophomore and Junior year I played all summer and improved my score by 25 plus strokes and broke the 100 mark that season. My junior year I was a State Qualifier after our team finished as regional runner-up. I worked all summer and played in 4-5 tournaments. My senior year my average has dropped to 93 with a low of 87. I finished 8th at regionals and will compete at State Oct 16,17.
I carry a 3.5-3.75 GPA and have taken some college courses this year. I took college Algebra and Trig last year, along with College Biology. This year I am taking College English, College Macroeconomics', AP History, and Public Speaking.
After my senior season I will work with my swing coach and prepare myself for the next level. My goal is to attend college and play golf at the college level.
I would be an asset to a college program because of my desire to get better, my work ethic, my grades, and my positive attitude.
