I carry a 4.0 GPA and have been playing competitive golf since I was 9. I attend The Golf Academy at Persimmon Ridge in Louisville, KY where I receive individual instruction and also participate in the weekly High School Group Instruction. I enjoy the High School Group because I get to interact with other players from other local and regional schools that push me to improve my game. I enjoy the individual instruction because it helps to identify the areas that I need to improve on my game.
I am looking for a college that will provide the best opportunity for me to focus on my specific area of academic interests/major, and will also help me further develop my interpersonal skills inside and outside of the classroom for life after school, help maintain and shape a good work ethic and time management, and push me to strive to do the best that I can do while also providing an opportunity to play golf at the next level after high school. Playing golf as part of a team in college, in addition to what I learn in the classroom will help further prepare me professionally in life after school.
Aside from golf, I am also involved in my local church youth group and volunteer in the children's ministry along with FCA, FCCLA, and Beta Club at my high school. I also work part time as a host at All About Kids.
