Hello, My name is Sarah Rothballer, I am a Senior at South Oldham High School. I am relatively new to the sport, this is my first year on the South Oldham Highschool Lady Dragon Golf Team. I started golf in June of 2024 and instantly fell in love with the sport. I have been taking lessons, and playing in a handful of matches, consistently shooting around 100. Although that score is relatively high, I am confident that I can lose some strokes with more coaching and practice.
Outside of golf I have been on the South Oldham cheer team for 4 years, but have cheered for 8 which has taught me coachability, persistence, and mental toughness which has helped me tremendously in my golf career thus far.
Setting athletics aside for a moment I would like to discuss my academic history. I have a 3.8 unweighted and a 4.0 weighted GPA. I received a 20 on my ACT, but am scheduled to retake it on October 1st. I am in the National Beta Club and Honor Society, which provides me with tremendous opportunities to volunteer inside and outside of school. I am looking at majoring in business and or something pre-law
