My golf journey began about 16 months ago, in July of 2020. Since then, I have been getting out on the golf course almost daily. Through hard work and dedication, I had gotten my golf scores from around 120 to mid-low 90's and 80's. Dropping over 40 strokes in year, I realized that golf was something that I wanted to preserve in.
I acquired a job at my local golf course, and since then, my love for golf grew even more. Centering my social life around the sport became the new normal, and I had improved in a very quick amount of time. Placing 2nd, 6th, 7th, and 9th, overall in tournaments, then making the Second All-Conference team for the Big North Conference in my second year of golf, I realized my hard work had really paid off. For team awards this season, I had gotten the title of Captain, and was awarded most improved and MVP.
I want to play collegiate golf to continue on in the sport I've grown to love.
