Hello, my name is Allison Weina but I go by Allie. I had begun my interest in golf around age 5 when my family lived in the Tampa area. I was going to golfing clinics on Saturdays, which was followed up by summer camps. After a couple of years doing this, my family moved back up north and I did not play golf again until my freshman year. I began freshman year at one high school, Saline High School, and then moved to Birmingham Seaholm starting my sophomore year. I began my sophomore year on JV and was named captain. Over the course of the year, I was pulled up to Varsity for a number of matches and tournaments. I was named to the Regional team which we placed second and was a member of the State team which we placed sixth as well as my best round (87) on the first day. This golf season, I am a member of the Varsity team as well as captain.
Due to moving to many different schools and locations for my father jobs. I have become very adaptable to new environments and people. I am very passionate about everything I do and strive to continually improve. The top priorities that I have are school and golf. I plan to attend a college with strong business program as well as pushing myself to compete in golf at the collegiate level. I am very coachable with the ability to replicate and internalize the instruction provided by coaches and mentors.
