Golf has been a significant part of my life for the past four years. From competitive tournaments to team bonding, I have always loved this sport. I have dedicated countless hours to pushing myself and I work hard to make myself a better golfer. Every year and every round has grown my love for this sport. Throughout my high school career, I have had the privilege of representing my school in many tournaments and leagues. These experiences have not only allowed me to work on my golf game but also grown my leadership skills and helped show me why I love golf. Being on our golf team, I have learned how to effectively communicate and support my teammates, and that then led us to a successful couple of years. Thinking more than just how I swing or how my scores end up after every round, my work ethic for this sport has set me apart. I have balanced numerous college classes and many AP classes, while maintaining a high GPA. I have also earned money in my paid job, while still being a part of two other varsity sports. Golf has taught me the importance of time management, self-discipline, and how to set goals that are not out of my reach. With these qualities, it gives me the drive to want to perform at the next level of golf. Choosing to participate in golf during my college career is backed up by my love and passion for the game. I am excited to share not only my love for the game but also learn how to further my values of teamwork and sportsmanship. I believe that my skills and commitment make me a strong candidate for a college golf team.
