Lyla Chrisman '26 Recruiting Profile

Collegiate golf has been a dream of mine for years. For the past couple of years I have non-stop worked on my game. I'm a sophomore on Grandville High School's Varsity. Since last season I have cut 15 consistent strokes off my average. I plan to work to cut even more off in the seasons and off seasons to come. I am involved in a few clubs and activities at school such as Theatre, DECA, WALC (women's

advancement in leadership) and French club. This past summer I participated in a Law Academy at Georgetown University which solidified my goals to study law and pursue prosecution as a career. Currently I work as a Junior Coach for The First Tee of West Michigan. It allows me to teach the younger generations about golf as well as getting me to the course everyday.
