Later in life, I want to become a successful young woman in order to help provide for my parents as well as for my self. This is a Filipino custom. The sense of responsibility to help provide for my parents, and sisters is inherent.
The best way for me to achieve this is to graduate from college. I have an analytical mind and am cool and level headed with an even temperament. I also get along well with others. Also, I am mentally tough. My dad loves to tell the story of the time he was following me in a 16 schools tournament and I started the 10th hole with an 8 and then finished each hole with nothing less than par, and had an eagle and a few birdies and was the lowest score of about 80 girls.
I have a "love and hate" relationship with golf but no one will out work me.
I am currently taking lessons with Jeff Goeble of the Fox Hills Golf academy. He is listed as one of the top teachers in "Golf Digest". He occasionally points me out as a model of concentration and work ethic to the other students. There is no quit in me!
I have been playing varsity golf since entering 9th grade at Franklin High School and in my sophomore year was a State qualifier and finished in the middle of the pack. It only pushed me to want to succeed even further after watching many excellent golfers.
Competition is my friend and loyalty is my creed.
